RECOMMENDED PARK VENUES

Great for Kiss Me Quick Bronze and Silver Weddings

Bradfield Park Wedding Locations

BRADFIELD PARK

Bradfield Park is at Milsons Point, on the lower north side of the harbour. It has iconic views across the water to the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and CBD. It has several areas where you can hold your ceremony and there is cover available in case of bad weather. It's my number one suggestion and hard to beat, so I do a lot of weddings here.

Cost: Free. There is no hire fee to pay and no booking to make for small groups (less than 60 people). You simply turn up, pick your spot and get married.

Availability: Securing your preferred spot is on a first come, first served basis. You can informally reserve your area by sending family or friends ahead to lay out a blanket or put out a couple of chairs. Otherwise you can simply turn up. This is a public park and regulations do not allow you to move people on; equally you are under no obligation to move if asked by someone else. I have conducted many weddings here and in my experience there is very rarely any issues. However, should your spot be taken on the day, there are several other possibilities all close by so you can choose a second option. If there is another wedding happening nearby at the same time, ceremonies can happen simultaneously without issue and Celebrants will often liaise with each other.

Getting there: Milsons Point train station is a short walk away. Ferries stop at Milsons Point Wharf near Luna Park. Buses serve Kirribilli and Milsons Point, and there is ample on street parking.

Facilities: There are public toilets here plus several cafes, bars and restaurants close by in Kirribilli.
