Everyone loves a white wedding and this White wedding was no exception – welcome to the new Mr and Mrs White!
Every bride likes to make a memorable entrance and Adam and Karina picked a great spot in Balmain which worked really well in that respect. Their ceremony took place on the middle tier of a three-level platform overlooking the harbour. As the autumn sunshine sparkled on the water, Karina walked down the steps from above to join us all. And then when the ceremony was over, Karina and Adam then led their guests down the final set of steps to the harbourside gardens below. It had a perfect symmetry with the ceremony and it was as if the platform had been built just for them.
My favourite memory from the day is listening to them saying some beautiful vows to each other that they had written, and watching a tear roll down Karina’s cheek. It was a moment of raw emotion that brought a lump to my throat. I’m glad I only had to hold the mic at that point and not speak myself!
Adam and Karina were married at Illoura Reserve, Balmain
