Weddings don’t have to be like weddings – we can give your ceremony a twist, Preferably with lemon. And poured over ice. How about a cocktail party wedding?
That’s what Abby and Al chose for their wedding – a drinks party with a relaxed and stytish vibe. Guests arrived at Aqua Dining to a chilled glass of champagne accompanied by some classy sounds from a group of musicians in the corner. With an iconic view of Sydney as the backdrop, the wine and the conversation flowed as dusk fell and the lights of Sydney began to twinkle.
Abby and Al made their entrance to huge cheers and applause as they walked down the stairs together to join their friends and family. And once we were sure everyone had a drink in their hand, we gathered round and really got the party started. Lots of fun, lots of smiles, and lots of love as they made their vows to each other. And as we wrapped things up, the band struck up again and the canapes came out as everyone congratulated the newlyweds.
This is what I love about creating a ceremony that suits your style. If you prefer to ditch the tradition and associated expectations in favour of something fun without the fuss, that’s exactly what we can do. They wanted a stylish party where the marriage was just one part of the evening, not the main focus.
Great choice you two – and congratulations to you both!
Abby and Al were married at Aqua Dining in Milsons Point, NSW.
