COVID and your wedding
Last update: December 17th 2021
What’s the current situation?
All COVID restrictions around weddings in NSW have now been dropped.
Anyone can attend a wedding and they are not required to be fully vaccinated or carry vaccination evidence.
Face masks are not required (but you are welcome to wear one if you wish).
Organisers are no longer required to have a Safety Plan.
Density limits no longer apply to weddings.
Dancing and standing while drinking are permitted.
What about social distancing?
While this is not longer officially required, please remember that some guests may still feel uncomfortable being in close proximity to others and we should all respect other people’s wishes.
Can we postpone or cancel our wedding ceremony because of COVID?
If you decide to postpone or cancel your booking, my standard terms apply as detailed in my Service Agreement.
What if we feel unwell?
COVID is still in the community. If you feel unwell on your wedding day, contact me immediately. If any of your guests feel unwell, ask them to stay at home.
What if you (the Celebrant) becomes ill?
Should I be unable to perform the ceremony due to illness, I will make every endeavour to minimise any disruption to your ceremony by locating an alternative like-minded celebrant with as much notice as possible in conjunction with you.
