Here’s a story of now and then, first and last.
Six years ago, we held a moving and memorable ceremony for James and Keegan at their family home. Inspired by such a beautiful and heartfelt celebration with their family and friends, they opened their home to other couples and created Wildenstein – a very special wedding venue in the Blue Mountains.
James is the perfect host and these past few years has given him lots of great dinner party stories! With views across the escarpment, and extensive manicured gardens, Wildenstein is a magical place.
A few days ago I was back at Wildenstein to marry Julie and Hugo, the last ceremony to be held there before James and Keegan move on to new adventures. They’re excited about what lies ahead, but also sad to say goodbye.
I’d love to say we planned it, but fate intervened and made it that way. Isn’t it weird how things just seem to work out?
There at the start, and there for the finale. A wonderful way to close the circle.
