No coffee served at Jess and Gino’s wedding at Sydney’s Grounds of Alexandria – it was all about the champagne!
Normally there are queues round the block for the Grounds’ famous coffee. But when the machines are off and everyone has gone, the Grounds takes on a peaceful, magical quality of its own. Jess and Gino were married under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights as we fired up the heaters and handed out the blankets to keep warm. But there was no need – we all had a warm feeling inside as they said their vows to each other!
One big feature of the Grounds is the animals, so Gino and Jess brought their own… their fur family! All dressed up for the occasion, of course it wouldn’t have been the same without them. And that was a lovely personal touch. Who says you have to leave the furry ones at home?
Afterwards I received a great review from Jess:
“I’m so happy we had Stephen as celebrant at our wedding. The ceremony was perfect, fitting our personalities and incorporating personal touches from friends and family. He is genuine and lovely, and was brilliant through every stage of the process. Friends and family commented on how beautiful and unique the ceremony was and how engaging and warm Stephen is, and I could not agree more.”
Gino and Jess were married at the Grounds of Alexandria, Sydney.
