Writing this wedding for two teachers was like having homework, but the kind you don’t mind doing. And they marked me A+ which is more than I managed at school!
You don’t need a lavish ceremony with scores of guests to make it memorable. A dozen of us gathered to celebrate a lesson in love from Rosie and Rajan as the harbour sparkled behind us in the sunshine. It felt like a really intimate gathering of best friends as we all had time to chat as we got ready, and I felt even more personally involved than usual.
Rajan penned a poem for his vows which got full marks all round – very appropriate seeing as we were at Shakespeares Point. (Enough education puns yet?) And I drove home with a big smile on my face. Afterwards, they emailed to say “We wanted to thank you SO SO SO much for marrying us. We had such a fantastic day and are completely certain that we picked the right person for the job. We give you an A+ lol ”
Rosie and Rajan were married at Shakespeares Point, Vaucluse, NSW.
